More than 290 employers from across China offered 9,800 job opportunities at Sichuan International Studies University’s (SISU) fall career fair for the Class of 2027 on October 23.

Held at the university’s West Campus athletic field, the fair brought together employers from 27 provincial-level regions and 16 industries, including 156 companies from Sichuan and Chongqing and 106 from the manufacturing sector. Available positions covered international trade, cross-border e-commerce, artificial intelligence, intellectual property services and foreign language education.

SISU President Zhu Chaowei and Vice President Hu Anjiang attended the event. Zhu visited employer booths and spoke with recruiters and graduating students about industry hiring needs, professional qualifications and international business opportunities. He also encouraged students to explore career paths in key industries and called for stronger university-industry partnerships and more targeted career guidance.

The fair featured information on government-supported employment programs, including the Western China Volunteer Service Program and the “Three Supports and One Assistance” initiative. Students also received individual résumé reviews and career advice.

Participating employers received more than 10,000 résumés during the event, with several expressing interest in further cooperation with SISU. Since the beginning of the academic year, the university has added more than 100 employers to its recruitment network as part of its efforts to expand career opportunities for graduates.
