On March 2, SISU welcomed a delegation from Brock University, led by David Begg, Associate Vice-President, International, for in-depth discussions on interuniversity cooperation. Gou Chaoli, Deputy Secretary of the CPC SISU Committee, met with the delegation.

Gou Chaoli and David Begg introduced their universities’ distinctive features, academic strengths and international engagement, and agreed to take an open and supportive approach to building institutional ties. Both sides said they hope to use the meeting as a starting point for deeper cooperation in areas including talent development and academic exchange.

The two sides then engaged in in-depth discussions on program development in linguistics and sociology, faculty and student exchanges, and talent development, laying a foundation for more substantive cooperation between the two universities.
