2026-10-28

Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) held its October Student Reception Day on October 23, providing students with an opportunity to share concerns and suggestions directly with university leaders as part of an ongoing effort to improve communication and campus life.

Held at the One-Stop Student Community Service Center on the West Campus, the meeting was attended by SISU Party Secretary Liu Sifang, Vice President Hu Anjiang, university administrators and student representatives. Hu chaired the session.

Student representatives presented feedback collected from their classmates on course offerings, dormitory management, dining services and campus facilities. Officials from relevant departments responded to each concern, offering immediate solutions where possible and outlining plans and timelines for issues requiring further review.

Liu thanked the students for their active participation in university affairs and emphasized the importance of taking their concerns seriously. He instructed university departments to address issues promptly, assign clear responsibilities and deadlines for more complex matters, and provide regular updates on their progress to ensure that student feedback leads to meaningful improvements.
