Vice President Cao Anh Tuan of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education Visits SISU

 On May 20, 2025, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE) in Vietnam, led by Vice President Cao Anh Tuan, visited Sichuan International Studies University (SISU). Deputy Party Secretary Gou Chaoli met with the delegation.

 

During the meeting, Gou Chaoli welcomed the visitors and expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation between the two institutions. Chen Huaqiao, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, SISU, introduced the city of Chongqing and SISU’s strengths in language education and international engagement. He reviewed the existing partnership between SISU and HCMUE and conveyed SISU’s intention to further expand academic exchanges, including welcoming faculty and students from HCMUE for short-term programs and collaborative activities.

 

Vice President Cao Anh Tuan thanked SISU for the warm welcome and affirmed HCMUE’s strong commitment to Chinese language education. He noted the potential for closer collaboration in areas such as joint academic programs, credit transfer agreement, and student and faculty exchanges. He also expressed hope that SISU would continue to support opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue studies in Chongqing.

 

The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Chinese Language and Culture, and the School of Eastern Languages and Cultures. The visit helped strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two universities and opened new avenues for future academic collaboration.
