The 11th National Mass Ice and Snow Season (Chongqing Branch) and the 7th Chongqing Ice and Snow Sports Season officially opened at the Nan Tian Lake International Ski Resort in Fengdu County. The event will run through April next year, offering a range of activities, including thrilling skiing experiences, ice and snow competitions, and a lively winter carnival.

Participants and visitors are already enjoying the festivities. “I’m here for the second time to compete in the snow volleyball tournament, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year!” said Lu Qingqing, a skiing enthusiast from Ziyang, Sichuan, during a break in the competition.

The event aims to promote winter sports and boost tourism, encouraging more people to embrace ice and snow activities while experiencing the charm of Chongqing’s winter landscape.
