Chongqing Launches First AI OPC Center in Liangjiang New Area

2026-03-03

Chongqing’s first AI OPC center has launched in Liangjiang New Area, according to Liangjiang Industrial Operation Co. on March 2. The first phase offers about 3,000 square meters of move-in-ready workspace at Neptune Digital Creative Park and is now open to tenants focused on “AI + applications.”

OPC, short for One Person Company, refers to a business model built around a single founder and supported by AI agents, a small number of assistants, and outsourced collaboration. Under this model, entrepreneurs can manage a full business process, from research and development to marketing and delivery, with AI handling many routine or supporting tasks. The model is emerging as a new avenue for entrepreneurship in the AI era.

For developers of intelligent equipment, for example, AI can assist with market research, operations, and copywriting while founders focus on hardware and software development and algorithm optimization. For AIGC creators, specialized large models can help generate ideas, draft scripts, and develop creative IP.

Backed by Neptune Digital Creative Park, one of Chongqing’s first “Full of Stars” demonstration buildings, the new center is designed to build an OPC ecosystem with a distinct Chongqing identity. In addition to rental support policies, it will provide shared meeting rooms, high-speed internet, an AI exhibition area, and livestreaming and video-editing space to give startups practical support from day one.

The center aims to offer more than workspace alone. By bringing together upstream and downstream industry resources and connecting entrepreneurs with real application scenarios, it is intended to help speed the path from technology development to market adoption. Liangjiang Industrial Operation Co. also plans to coordinate resources from leading enterprises and provide qualified founders with end-to-end support in operations, talent services, and business development.

To improve platform services, the center will help create a “15-minute work-and-life circle” that integrates office, creative, and living functions. It will also support the development of an aggregated platform for mainstream large-model agents tailored to OPCs, along with lightweight productivity toolchains and trusted data channels, lowering the technical threshold for early-stage ventures.

In talent support, the center will offer preferential policies for talent apartment rentals and home purchases, while also organizing regular training sessions, seminars, and skills-development programs to help entrepreneurs build their careers in Chongqing.

To accelerate growth, the center will provide a free one-year public service package covering business registration, taxation, legal services, and intellectual property. It will also work with banks to offer low-interest loans, support qualified projects through arrangements such as rent-for-equity and equity investment, and seek additional support in areas such as computing vouchers and model vouchers. Each OPC will be assigned a dedicated service manager to provide guidance from large-model filing to compliance support.

The center will also expand access to market opportunities through a matching mechanism that links capabilities with application scenarios. Eight digital scenarios across Liangjiang Industrial Operation Co.’s industrial parks, including those related to artificial intelligence and intelligent connected vehicles, will be opened to OPC participation and bidding. Regular roadshows, technology salons, and other ecosystem events will also be held to help promising ideas move from concept to real-world application.
