Vice President of SISU, Zhu Chaowei, received Michele Carlisle, director of the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center (ECOESC)，Ohio, USA, on December 5, at A501, Lide Building west campus.

Zhu shared the university's history, academic programs, and international collaborations, and expressed appreciation for the work of ECOESC.

Carlisle reported on the institute's activities in 2022, noting stable student enrollment and a combination of online and offline courses post-pandemic.

Both parties discussed further cooperation and exchanged ideas on the future of the Confucius Institute.

Zhu presented Carlisle with an honorary medal for her 13 years of service as the director of the Confucius Institute.
