SISU Professor Speaks at 2023 National Conference

The 2023 National Conference on Graduate Education for Professional International Business Students was held in Beijing from June 2nd to 4th. Professor Peng Cheng, the head the International Business Master's program of SISU, delivered a keynote speech titled "Reflections and Explorations on the Education of Professional International Business Master Program in Foreign Language Colleges in the New Era." Dean Lin Chuan of the School of International Finance and Trade, along with two professors Zhai Haomiao and Li Chunzhi, attended the conference.

Professor Peng Cheng began his speech by providing an introduction to the Professional International Business Master's degree program at SISU. He then discussed the key areas of cultivating Professional International Business Masters, emphasizing the need to enhance students' academic abilities, business skills, and language and cultural competencies.  He pointed out that the goal is to nurture highly proficient, cross-culturally adept, and application-oriented professionals in the field of international business.

Finally, Professor Peng Cheng emphasized the need for new thinking in the cultivation of Professional International Business Masters in the new era. Against the backdrop of evolving international economic environment and the development of the digital economy, "internationalization" and "digitalization" have emerged as new concerns and core elements in nurturing International Business Masters.
