From July 28 to 31, hosted by China Association of Higher Education, the 2^ndNational Innovative College Teaching Contest was held in Xi'an Jiaotong University.

A SISU teaching team led by professor Zheng Xiumin from the College of International Education won the national first prize in the intermediate groups with the course “Appreciation and Creation of Chinese and Foreign Children's Picture Books”.

Through three rounds of contests at the university, provincial and national level respectively, with their outstanding teaching skills, excellent performance and team work, Zheng Xiumin and her team stood out from 406 contestants in the fierce national contest.

Among the 10 teaching teams from Chongqing, 2 teams won the first prize in the national contest, which is also a major breakthrough secured by college teachers in Chongqing in the contest.
