President Dong Hongchuan Delivers Keynote Speech at Forum

Dong Hongchuan, SISU President and Vice Chairman of China Council for BRICS Think Tank, addressed Forum on Promoting Tourism Recovery and Cooperation held in Guilin on September 19, 2022.  

In his keynote speech, President Dong calls for industrial integration, talent cultivation and more think tank researches to deepen tourism cooperation among BRICS countries. Dong also says that as a university boasting a BRICS research think tank, SISU is committed to promoting the cooperation of BRICS countries.

The Forum is expected to serves as a platform for boosting people-to-people exchanges and tourism cooperation between BRICS and ASEAN members against the backcloth of the ongoing pandemic.

The Forum was organized by the Bureau of International Exchanges and Cooperation of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Culture and Tourism Department, Guilin Municipal People’s Government and China Tourism Academy.

The Forum was conducted both online and offline.
