SISU Students Win Prizes in Foreign Language Competition

SISU students won multiple prizes in the 32^nd Chongqing University Students English Speech, Writing and Reading Competition, which is also the Chongqing Final of National FLRP & ETIC Cup English Speech, Writing and Reading Competition.

The competition was held online on October 29, 2022. Eleven SISU students entered the Final, and brought home five first prizes, three second prizes, two third prizes, and one for honorable mention.

The speech competition consists of given topic speech, impromptu speech, and an interview. In the writing competition, the contestants are to write an expository essay writing and a notice. The reading competition consists of comprehension questions based on the books taken out of a book list given to the contestants before the competition and a question and answer session.
