SISU Team Wins Second Prize in ACCA “Job Hunting Competition”

A four-member team from the School of International Business and Managements, SISU, won the first runner-up prize in the national final of the 2022 “Job Hunting Competition” (JHC) sponsored by ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) on August 5, 2022. This victory marks a new record for SISU teams taking part in the Competition.  

Themed on developing green economy, the final competition tests the contestants' business thinking, analytical skills, English proficiency, team spirit and adaptability skills. In the competition, the contestants need to assess the climate risks and opportunities of a listed building materials company, and to design a management processes to minimize the risks and optimize its organizational structure.

The team, which is named “LUMOS”, ranked the second among the 12 contestants in the final competition. The four students are: Deng Ao, Huang Bonan, Huang Qingyu, Sun Anqi and the coach of the team is the students’ professor, Pan Yao.
