During this year's May Day holiday, the tourism industry in Shapingba surged with popularity.

The ancient town of Ciqikou received a new wave of visitors, while the immersive epic drama "Red Rock" was a hot ticket. The Rongchuang Wenlv Tourist City's "Chase Light" music festival was also a great success, as was the Urban Youth Festival at Jinsa Paradise Walk shopping mall.

Ciqikou Ancient town has been one of the most popular sights in Chongqing. The Houlang ( Youth) Street in Ciqikou opened on May 1, which drew the highest number of young visitors with its myriad of cultural venues.

During the May Day holiday, Rongchuang Yule(Entertainment) Town hosted the "Chase Light" music festival at night. A group of new-generation singers, internet celebrities, and over ten outstanding local musicians from Chongqing set up an exciting live performance, creating a free atmosphere for their fans to enjoy.

On the first day of the May Day holiday, the Chongqing Flower and Bonsai Association's floral art department, in collaboration with the Phoenix Flower Sea Scenic Area, held an event titled "Spreading the Beauty of Life: Bringing Floral Art into the New Countryside" to promote art in rural areas.
