The 2023 National Cheerleading Championship was held from December 13 to 17 in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

The event attracted 219 teams and more than 4000 participants from across the country. After rounds of intense competition, Chilli cheerleading team from SISU won the championship in two categories at the event: the Open Youth B Group - Small Group Rhythmic Ball Routine and the Rhythmic Ball Campus (Big Break) Routine. They achieved this with standardized technical movements, smooth formation changes, seamless team coordination, and a tenacious sporting spirit. This victory fully showcased the strength and grace of the Sichuan International Studies University cheerleading team members.

This achievement marked a significant milestone for the Chilli team, as it was their first offline participation in a national cheerleading event after four years. This competition is a stage to showcase their exceptional talent and a chance to improve the holistic development of the students, aligning perfectly with the educational objectives of SISU.
