In a campaign to promote environmental awareness, Chongqing Aquatic Wildlife Conservation and Science Education Month event commenced on December 1st at the Sea World in Sunac Cultural Tourism City, Shapingba District.

Focusing on aquatic wildlife conservation, aquatic ecology, and fishing ban, the activity aims to enhance public awareness in aquatic wildlife conservation and saving rare and endangered aquatic wildlife.

“The past several years have witnessed great achievements in wildlife conversation along the Yangtze River” , a representative from the Agriculture and Rural Committee of Shapingba District announced at the event, and vows to take more measures to strengthen the protection of aquatic biodiversity and crack down on illegal fishing activities in the future.
