The university is a diverse and inclusive community. There are more than 60 student clubs and societies in SISU.  Annual events such as International Cultural Festivals, Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Events, Foreign Language Gala, Model United Nations Conference, Line Dance Competitions, and Future Journalism & Communication Professional Development Month.
