SISU Virtual Simulation Experiment Training Center Debuts at Higher Education Expo

The 61st China Higher Education Expo, a prestigious event dedicated to educational innovation and collaboration, commenced on April 15th in Fuzhou, Fujian. This two-day event, organized by the Chinese Society of Higher Education and co-hosted by several esteemed institutions including the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, the Fuzhou Municipal Government, and Xiamen University, aims to showcase the latest advancements in higher education.

Professor Zhang Qing, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Sichuan International Studies University, and Yu Jia from the Office of Academic Affairs attended the expo.

The center, established in 2023, includes a VR teaching and training area as well as a VR course display section. It features cutting-edge virtual reality technology and artificial intelligence-assisted teaching systems, providing students with immersive learning experiences and practical hands-on opportunities. These innovations have significantly boosted students' interest in learning and improved educational outcomes.

The China Higher Education Expo, initiated in 1992, is held twice a year in spring and autumn. It stands as the most extensive and influential comprehensive brand expo in the national higher education sector. This year's expo promotes the integrated development of education, technology, and talent, attracting nearly a thousand exhibitors and over 6,000 participating companies, alongside more than 1,500 educational institutions. The exhibitors cover various domains such as artificial intelligence systems, smart laboratories, and smart education, showcasing the rapid progress and international reach of China's higher education in digital and intelligent education solutions.
