SISU Delegation Visits Partner Businesses in Shenzhen

Vice President Yan Gongjun led a delegation to Shenzhen from April 11th to 13th, aiming to strengthen partnerships with local businesses and enhance the quality of talent training and employment.

The visit included stops at prominent enterprises such as Shenzhen Yunyi Technology Co., Ltd., and the Shenzhen headquarters of BYD Co., Ltd., where the team met with university students and alumni who are interning or working at BYD.

The delegation comprised several key figures from the university: Dean Luo Wenqing of the School of Oriental Languages and Cultures, Deputy Party Secretary Chen Rui, Yang Gang, the head of the General Office, and counselor Fu Feifei, all of whom participated in a series of planned activities.

During their visit to Shenzhen Yunyi Technology on the afternoon of April 11th, Vice President Yan and his team engaged in in-depth discussions with He Zhonghong, the company’s board director, Vice President Wu Juan, and Liu Kaijun, the R&D Director.

The following day, the team proceeded to BYD's headquarters in Shenzhen for a roundtable with Zhang Shunzhi, the Director of Human Resources Recruitment, and Gong Jinmei, HR Manager of the Asia-Pacific Automotive Sales Division.

BYD, recognized among the Fortune 500, spans the automotive, urban rail transit, new energy, and electronics sectors. Notably, 105 alumni from our university contribute to BYD’s international strategy.

On the final day of the visit, April 13th, Dean Luo Wenqing led a visit to the BYD factory in Huizhou to connect with the 2023 graduates from the School of Oriental Languages and Cultures, where the delegation learned about the graduates' training, career progress, and general well-being.
