On Nov. 19, 2023, a remarkable feat has been achieved by Liu Jiaxin, a 19-year-old student from Sichuan International Studies University (SISU), who emerged victorious in the adult women's figure skating category at the 2023 World Freestyle Roller Skating Championships held in Shanghai.

Representing the Chinese national team, Liu, a sophomore in SISU's Chinese Language and Culture Department, captivated the judges with her exceptional performance, garnering a remarkable score of 196.02 points, leaving her closest competitor trailing by over 20 points.

Liu's triumph is a testament to her unwavering dedication and exceptional talent in the sport of freestyle roller skating. Her impressive accolades include numerous medals at national and international competitions, including a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games.
