At the closing ceremony of the 5th National Mind Sports Games held in Hefei, Anhui Province, on Nov.4, it is announced that the 6th National Mind Sports Games will be hosted at Hechuan city, Chongqing Municpality in 2027.

The 5th National Mind Sports Games was sponsored by the Chess and Card Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and organized by the Administration of Sports of Anhui Province and the Hefei Municipal People’s Government. Themed on “ Minds Meet and Shine in Hefei”, the event features competitions across six main disciplines:Go, Chinese chess, chess, bridge, Gobang, and draughts with 58 minor items, and a public group. The age of the competitors ranges from 6 to 76.

The Games has attracted nearly 5000 participants from 52 units of 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government.52 units.
