SISU is very active in international cooperation. More than 100 inter-collegeexchange programs have been established between SISU and over 100universities/institutions in more than 30 countries and regions. Annually, SISUsends more than 600 students to study abroad and admit about 400 internationalstudents. The university is the only Chinese university officially recognizedby Agence Universitarie de la Francophonie (AUF). It is one of the foundingmembers of the Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU). Incooperation with education institutions of other countries, SISU has set upsome foreign language centers on its campus, such as Goethe Language Center,Cervantes Institute, Centre of Italian, Russian Language Center and BelarusianResearch Center. SISU has established Confucius Institutes at Lome Universityof Togo, Nizhniy Novgorod Language University of Russia, and East Central OhioEducational Service Center of the USA. It is now offering a ‘dual-degree’program in Business English with University of Newcastle, Australia, and adual-degree program in Logistics Management with University of Strasbourg,France.
