The Israeli ambassador to China, Matan Vilnai and his delegation visited SISU on Oct. 31.
President Li Keyong and Vice President Zhu Chaowei warmly received the guests at the reception room in Hongwen Building.
Li, on behalf of the faculty and students of SISU, extended warm welcome to the ambassador and his party, and briefed the guests with the Hebrew Program in SISU. President Li expressed his appreciation for Amir Lati, Israeli Consul General to Chengdu, for his support in setting up the, and wishes the Israeli government do more to facilitate the growth of the Hebrew Programin and further cooperation between the two universities.
The Israeli Abassador voiced his support for the program and his committment to promote cooperation between SISU and Israeli higher education institutions.
