Mr. Ran Peleg, newly appointed Consul General of the Consulate General of
Israel in Chengdu, payed his visit to SISU in the afternoon of March 14, 2019.
Li Keyong, President of SISU, and Li Xiaochuan, Vice President met the guest at A410 of the Administration Building on west campus.
President Li introduced Consul General Ran Peleg the current situation of
Hebrew major in SISU, and the SISU’s communication with the Consulate
General of Israel in Chengdu and Israeli universities and colleges. He hoped both parties continued to strengthen cooperation and promote the development of
Hebrew major in SISU as well as educational and cultural exchanges between
China and Israel. In his speech, Consul General Ran Peleg proposed that the
relationship between China and Israel in recent years was a new type of relationship driven by innovation. There was a broad prospect of educational exchanges
between Chinese universities and colleges, and Israeli ones. SISU and Israeli universities and colleges had a good foundation for cooperation. He said that the
Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu would continue to support the
