The opening ceremony of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition was held on the afternoon of 3rd June, a month dedicated to the Seventh Session of Safeguarding Cultural Heritage, at the Student Center Jinxiu Building at west SISU campus.
Visitors marveled at the eye openers --- 15 pieces of intangible cultural heritage, including gourd pyrography, dough figurine, palm fiber weaving and the boxwood carving. During the exhibition, visitors also communicated and interacted with the representatives of intangible cultural inheritors.
Visiting teachers and students are particularly fascinated by two exhibition stands that showcase the art of seal-cutting and peony-painting, which not only encouraged hands-on practices. They also intrigued quite a few foreign teachers and students to taste such fun.
