and Technical Education College
The Vocational
and Technical Education College was founded in 1999
and enrolls 400 students each year from high-school
graduates who pass the national entrance examination
with good English competence. The faculty is composed
of teachers with good language teaching qualifications
as well as professionals from enterprises as part-time
teachers. There are native English teachers from English
speaking countries who also assist in the teaching.
The Vocational and Technical Education College based
in Sichuan International Studies University enjoys an
excellent reputation and great popularity in the field
of foreign language teaching in the south west part
of China. The college offers a 3-year diploma study
of five majors linked to practical subjects such as
marketing, international business and trade, tourism,
secretarial studies and home economics. Undergraduate
(BA degree) courses of the same major will be presented
in the near future.
The College is well equipped with good teaching facilities
and a studentsĄŻ residential hall while sharing good
campus academic activities with SISU students.
