The Department of Social Science plays an important role in supporting all non-English teachings for every other department of Sichuan International Studies University. The faculty has a total staff of 40, and their work includes a large area of academic teaching and research. Recently, the faculty has published a lot of academic papers in the fields of: philosophy, literature, aesthetics, journalism, economics, history, law, psychology, international politics, public relations, tourism, accounting, Chinese linguistics, cross culture and higher education research.
