The International Cultural Exchange College (ICEC) offers three kinds of undergraduate programmes: English major with Foreign Affairs Management, International Cultural Exchange and 3-4-year programme of Tourism as minor; Chinese majors: Chinese as a Foreign Language and Journalism (international news).
Completely carrying out the PartyˇŻs educational policies, ICEC devotes itself to training students ethically, intellectually and physically so that they will become qualified personnel with practical competence and a good command of Chinese and foreign languages to promote the economic and cultural exchanges between different countries of the world and to work hard for the realization of socialist modernizations.
ICEC has a large contingent of qualified teachers and an adequate provision of teaching and research facilities. Over 75% of its teachers have been awarded senior or secondary professional titles. Foreign experts and experienced teachers work hand in hand with the college. In recent years, ICEC has turned out a large number of graduates for such fields as foreign affairs, international business and trade, news and press, tourist agencies, international finance, education and scientific research, foreign enterprises and joint ventures. Now many of them have now become the leaders or vital contributors to these fields and enjoy great success.
ICEC offers a lot of courses including English intensive and extensive reading, listening comprehension, English writing, English and Chinese translating, Chinese and foreign cultures, intercultural exchanges, diplomatic etiquette, foreign affairs correspondence, tourism studies, international news, applied computer science etc.
